After nine lovely, strange, educative, fantastic years, I am ceasing all efforts under the count rocula moniker.
I truly appreciate all of the support over this relatively long period; the little emails here and there, the contact through IUMA, MP3.com, ElectronicScene and MySpace, the request for more songs and sample files. It certainly brought a good amount of worth and purpose to my early adult years.
In a way, countrocula.com was an unintentional experiment. Most of the audience that the site garnered was comprised of faceless souls half way around the globe. Some of the audience didn't even visit the site for my music as I originally hoped for. Some came to leech the free samples and ReCycle! files, some came to look a the current design in place and others visited just to satisfy their curiosity to examine what was on a website named countrocula.com.
I am now moving on to provide better direction over the anthrophone. collective and to make music under the more mature and sophisticated alias of Materiel. It's just where my brain is living at the moment ;) I'll be sure to post an update with my new project's URL.
